This is a rarely available and genuine career opportunity to join one of the very best employers in Scotland, an award-winning company who rarely recruit due to their incredibly high staff retention rate but who are doing so just now due to further expansion of their telesales team.

They are looking for a proven Telesales Executive who has excellent sales closing skills to join their established team in the City Centre. With them you would present all available options to potential new customers and aim to close the business in the least time possible. This role entails dealing with both consumer and business customers (mostly consumer side) therefore candidates with experience in both areas would be of particular interest.

You would be responsible for taking a number of inbound and web-based sales enquiries and converting them into sales. Although a lot of your selling opportunities will be presented to you like this, we are looking for a commercially aware and sales-hungry person who is also able to develop opportunities of their own through sourcing leads and gaining referrals. Applicants must have a very strong closing nature and always be looking to gain commitment and secure the business before the prospective customer gets too many other options from the marketplace.

This is a great opening with a fantastic company in Glasgow who are renowned for treating their staff extremely well. The starting basic salary for the position is GBP17,000 with a bonus guarantee of GBP500 per month for your first 3 months also in place, meaning your first-year base earnings would effectively be GBP18,500. The role also comes with a very achievable first year OTE of GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 that is regularly earned by other team members. The additional benefits available to staff are also exceptional.

Due to business and customer requirements, a certain degree of flexibility will be required from applicants in regards to working hours. A typical working week would look like the below with some days being swapped weekly on a rota basis:

Monday - 9.00am - 5.30pm

Tuesday - 8.00am - 4.30pm

Wednesday - 9.00am - 5.30pm

Thursday - 12.00pm - 8.00pm

Friday - 9.00am - 5.00pm

Saturday - 9.00am - 12.00pm (only 1 in every 4 Saturdays and you are paid overtime at time-and-a-half for it)
