Our clients looking for an Electrical/Mechanical Technician at their Faversham site who would be interested in working for a multi customer, market leading Logistics company on a permanent basis.

The Engineering Technician’s role is to maintain the equipment, plant and machinery associated with the Chill Warehouse and sorting process and to carry out maintenance routines as directed, contributing to the improvement process of all maintenance
You will be required to work a variety of shifts within a set rota so a flexible approach is essential

You will ensure that you achieve:
• Support and assist the site operations with maintenance activities
• Carry out equipment servicing in accordance with the Gist standards
• Ensure that the maintenance engineering for the site is carried out effectively and efficiently in a timely manner
• Complete the relevant administration, stores and service records
• Resolve within a reasonable time any equipment faults – Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic /PLC
• Prioritise system faults
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation
• Ensure quality of output
• Involvement in continuous improvement activities
• Maintain product flow at all time
Previous experience as an Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Previous experience as an Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
- Good working knowledge and understanding of PLC equipment
- Good working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic technical manuals and drawings.
- Good relationship building skills
