Senior HR Manager
£40 – £45k p.a.
The LIPA Learning Group comprises LIPA, LIPA 4:19, The LIPA Primary School and The LIPA Sixth Form College. In due course, we expect to add a secondary school to our group.
Working closely with our HR Director, you will supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our small HR/Payroll team, providing operational leadership for all our HR activities.
You will be joining us at an exciting time in our journey as we seek to align our policies and procedures across the group and ensure that we have an outstanding HR function that is able to grow along with our group. As such, this new role provides a unique opportunity for you to help shape and drive our approach to HR.
You will be an experienced HR generalist who is able to take responsibility for all aspects of HR, drawing on your expertise, skills & knowledge to lead the HR team, oversee day-to-day core HR activity and provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on a wide range of issues.
You must have a sound knowledge of current HR practice and employment law. You should be a graduate and, ideally, MCIPD qualified or be working towards qualification.
Highly developed interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to exercise complete discretion at all times. Candidates are required to have a high level of literacy and numeracy and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
