Business Development Manager

Currently seeking a pro-active sales team member to enhance and develop this stunning Grade 1 listed Mansion House, nestled in 121 acres of parkland. This stunning hotel is the ideal backdrop for conferences, meetings and events located on the Berkshire-Hampshire border, with superb links to London Heathrow Airport and Central London.

This location offers 74 bedrooms across the estate including a stunning self-contained training centre.

The role will be focused on proactively sourcing new opportunities and building on existing relationships for the Hotel, re-creating awareness and growing new corporate streams of revenue within the Corporate/MICE sectors of the business.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager and Head of Sales in creating and delivering new sales opportunities through face to face meetings and presentations, develop new corporate/MICE and leisure business from core market segments creating an ongoing sales pipeline and showing consistent conversion to realised business.

Demonstrating a seamless line of communication with the internal team to ensure they are achieving the optimum level of sales and conversion in line with the budget.

Grow market share from existing accounts through effective account management and developing relationships.

The person:

- Hospitality pro-active sales background of no less than 3 years
- Practiced knowledge in the local area, with an understanding of the National corporate market - demonstrating strong communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of key account development - operating a 360 approach to each and every opportunity.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing and account management skills.
- Time management and organisational abilities

Continuous training and development will be provided.
