This company has been established for 25 years and is the market leader in providing electronic interactive venue data to corporate and agency buyers of Meetings, Incentives, Conference & Events. Operating various business channels including 2 web based directories and a software booking system, the company markets to individual and group venues around the world.

They are looking for a Project Manager to join the growing team.

The successful candidate will have an exemplary track record in managing client relations, communications and diary management. Your role is responsible for the management of small, low complexity projects, sub-projects or phases of a larger project to ensure that overall objectives are clearly defined and met. You will be required to liaise with customers, clients and suppliers to connect all communications from all directions. Your role will be a critical one, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard and of course, on time.

You will need to hit your projects running and work independently and must be self-motivated. There will be a great deal of thinking on your feet throughout the role and the right candidate should be able to show that they are able and willing to use their initiative to get the job done.

Prior knowledge and experience in the meetings industry and/or project management is desirable but not essential although preferred consideration will be given to candidates with the above experience.

A comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel and/or Google Docs and sheets together with general computer competency is a must to be considered for this role.

The successful candidate will have the ability to demonstrate web-based tools over the telephone, build rapport with people easily and think on their feet in a fast paced environment. Previous experience working with a contact management system would be an advantage.
