The Company
Our client is a packaging manufacturer based in Castle Donington. Due to recent business growth they are now looking to recruit Packing / Production Operatives on a Temp-to-Perm basis.
The Role
Responsible for assisting with general production processes during the running of carton finishing services - die cutting, window patching and carton gluing; packing finished products.
Duties and Responsibilities
?? Assisting the Machine Minders and Assistants during the set up process and during production.
?? To communicate in person with colleagues and visitors in a friendly and positive manner.
?? To work in accordance with Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations.
?? To undertake such staff training and development, which may from time to time be determined.
?? To undertake any other such duties, within the competency of the post, this may from time to time vary in order to meet the needs of the business and its customers.
?? To work in a flexible manner
?? To work effectively as part of a team
?? To maintain a general level of tidiness in work areas, and ensure punctual time keeping in accordance with contacted hours
Hours:
Days: 6:00am-2:00pm Monday to Friday - 37.5 per week plus additional overtime when work load requires. Pay rate is GBP7.83 p/hour.
Benefits:
The starting rate of pay is GBP7.83 per hour which will increase after successful completion of 12 weeks. Once permanent the following employment benefits will be honoured:
?? 22 days holiday per year plus 8 Statutory Bank Holidays
?? Holiday Pay
?? Pension scheme
?? Death in Service Life Cover (applicable after a successful probation period)
?? Work Uniform
