Working within our Domestic Abuse Refuge Support Services within Birmingham you will be an experienced Domestic Abuse Support Worker who will provide key support to Women and their children who have or are fleeing domestic abuse.

Fully aware of Supporting People guidelines you will work to deliver a high quality person centred support service that meets the diverse needs of our customer base.

You will ensure that all women accessing the service are given the best possible support, in line with the Supporting People's support plan; you will need to have the ability to work as part of a team and the flexibility to lone work.

You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse, relevant experience, excellent interpersonal skills and a level 2 qualification in a Social care setting (or level 2 with relevant experience).

You will have experience and skills in working in partnership with both statutory and voluntary organisations and the ability to sign post customers to relevant agencies.
