Role: Production Operator / Machine Operator
Location: Commutable from Horsham, Crawley, Worthing, Haywards Heath and surrounding areas
Salary: GBP19,000 - GBP21,000 per annum, plus overtime - overtime can include an extra GBP2,000 - GBP4,000 per annum (approx.)
Hours: Monday to Friday rotating weekly of shifts of 6:45am till 2:45pm (1:45pm on Friday) AND 2:45pm till 10:45pm (8:45pm on Friday)

We are currently recruiting for 2 Machine Operators to join a small and friendly manufacturing company on a Permanent basis. Currently they are going through a period of growth and have commissioned a number of new machines to site, along with expanding their factory. They pride themselves on honest communication and getting the job done. Responsibilities
* Set and operate machinery
* Set up machine to accommodate for job orders and specs
* Conduct machine adjustments as needed to meet requirements
* Work closely with other members of the team to assure a cooperative and friendly atmosphere with regard to the daily activities of production
* Perform special projects and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel or management
* Fill in the job sheet and sign first off quality checks
* Ensure desired output is achieved with robust quality
* Performs regular checks for compliance to specs and quality standards
* Identify and promptly report to supervisor equipment malfunction, material, safety, and or quality issues
* Help and assist with general maintenance and repair of the machinery
* Escalate and communicate problems to maintenance team
Requirements
* Worked in a Manufacturing and/or Production environment preferred or willingness and desire to learn
* Machine operating experience preferred, but again woudl consider those who have a good background and are willing to learn
* Good English communication and written skills
* Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck in
* Friendly and adaptable working attitude, with the hunger to learn and grow
