Our client, a technology distributor specialising within innovative technologies are looking for an Account Manager to join their highly experienced team. Working in conjunction with the Sales Manager, the main purpose of this role is to;

• Proactively look for new customer prospects and opportunities to recruit new accounts.

• Accurately respond to incoming inquiries relation to product specification and price.

• Create joint business plans with customers as well as building and maintaining sales pipeline.

• Promote new products and take part in marketing activities including the support for customers with end user projects.

• Build strong business relationships with Senior Customer Representatives and vendor sales contacts.

• Build and maintain a sales pipeline effectively managing customer base by maintaining regular contact.

• Responsible for the whole sales cycle, from consultation/solution design to quote and order delivery.

• Negotiate and maintain profitable commercial terms with your accounts.

• Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets and create joint business plans with customers.

• B2B sales and at least 2 years' experience of selling within a selling environment or degree level education.

• Demonstrable previous sales success.

• Proficient with computer software applications including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Good level of education coupled with demonstrable business and commercial acumen.

• Demonstrating drive and ambition with a desire for results.

• Great Communication skills (Written and Verbal) experience of presenting to customers.

9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday

GBP24,000 | Generous uncapped commission structure | Expected minimum GBP10-30K OTE in Year 1
