Business Analyst

Based in Slough, we are a dynamic and growing business seeking a talented mid to senior level Business Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Professionals Services, you will be responsible for reviewing the current business processes across the PS business, comparing them to the new "To Be" processes together with the application functional design of Dynamics 365 PSA to ensure the new system has been designed with best practise in mind, simplifying current processes and addressing current pain points.

You will be required to identify the business impact of the new system and change and recommend how this can be managed through adoption and organisational change.

You will work with internal stakeholders and with both internal and external developers to turn designs into a delivered system. You will be responsible for the analysis, design re-work, testing.

You will be required to be both business-facing and technical at the same time. You will need to build and maintain highly effective relationships with key stakeholders, business process owners, peers within PS and throughout the company.

The successful candidate will have a strong history of business analysis with Professional Services Automation Applications. Very strong technical skills coupled with an excellent understanding of business process management and business requirements with the ability to translate them into specific application and operational requirements.

Experience with Dynamics CRM and Changepoint would be an advantage as would the exposure to a recognised project methodology and pragmatic approach to delivering business solutions.

The successful candidate will need to have demonstrable experience in the following:

Job Requirements:

* Hands-on involvement in multiple end-to-end Professional Services system implementations and/or rollouts

* Clear understanding of Professional Services best practise processes

* Experience and business understanding of scoping and implementing Professional Services Financial Reporting.

* Strong understanding of requirements definition and technical solution

* Business Process Mapping skills

* Ability to facilitate workshops to translate business needs to functional specifications for new system design and on-going enhancements.

* Hands-on ability to participate in building test scripts, creating and loading test data and guiding users during UAT and training

* Experience writing functional system design documentation

Duties & Responsibilities

* This role will be focused on reviewing the current business processes as well as critiquing the new / proposed processes that have been designed for the implementation of Dynamics 365 PSA

* Evaluating the information gathered through workshops, business process description and task analysis to recommend process improvement and highlight areas of concern both from a process perspective as well as the organisational structure.

* Identifying / assessing the current painpoints throughout the PS processes and determining the best solution to those problems through system development, process improvement, organisation changes, policy development and / or strategic planning

* Documenting and analyzing the required information and data.

* Specification of key reports required to support and monitor the key PS processes.

* Evaluating current system design and making recommendations

* Work with technical teams to understand technical capabilities to help define system design

* Work with third-party suppliers where necessary
