Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Specialists are currently seeking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor. This role plays an integral part in the HR function, you will be providing a customer focused service in ensuring recruitment objectives are met, payroll activities actioned and a key role in nurturing strong employee relations within the business.
The Opportunity
This is a demanding position where you will be working for a for a rapidly expanding organisation who currently have an inundated workload with new projects and contract wins. Location (s): Derby
Role and Responsibilities:
* Own the recruitment process from initial adverts through to on boarding.
* Support managers on performance management for staff, to develop a high-performance culture within the business.
* Support any organisational restructures and contractual changes including TUPE.
* Liaise all health and safety matters to staff and managers ensuring they understand their role and responsibilities.
* Ensure the audit process is planned and documented with regards to agency provisions.
* Provide accurate KPI data on a weekly/monthly/ad hoc basis.
* Support the HR manager is developing coaching and feedback within the company.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate must be a highly motivated individual who can adhere to strict deadlines and pressures within the role, communicating effectively to all relevant members of staff. You must be able to take responsibility, adopting a strong work ethic in adapting to an environment which may be out of your comfort zon.
Essentials
* Experience working in a large and complex manufacturing environment - ideally within the rail industry.
* CIPD Qualified (Level 3 minimum)
* Understanding of recruitment processes from advert to onboarding
* Knowledge of payroll systems
* Relevant TUPE experience
* 2-3 years' work experience within similar role
* Strong communication skills
