Our Client are an established Food manufacturer in Devon and are expanding at rapid rate and now have a great opportunity for electrically biased shift engineers to join this leading food company who supply products to supermarkets UK wide. Due to growth they are seeking 3 maintenance engineers.
You will be responsible for breakdown and re-active maintenance on a range of equipment used within the process and packaging of food based products. The machinery that you will be maintaining and repairing will include fillers, coolers, conveyor systems, check weighers, washers, conveyors and high speed packaging equipment.
This will see you working on variable speed drives, controls panels, fault finding on PLC based systems, changing, bearings, gearboxes, motors and more.
These are exciting and challenging times for our Client and they need people who will make a difference and add value to their already strong and effective team of Engineers. For the role you will need to be an electrically skilled maintenance engineer qualified to City & Guilds or equivalent level qualifications.
If you have 17th Edition this would be a distinct advantage as would 'hands on' maintenance experience with an drinks/dairy/Food process environment or FMCG experience my client would like to meet you. The role will be based on a rotating day/night shift pattern. (12 hour shifts)
In return the company offers a salary of up to GBP40,000 to GBP45,000 depending on experience. Company also provide a good pension contribution and holiday and all bank holidays off. Also offer Overtime time and half, Bonuses, Over 1,500 last year.
