Systems Accountant

This company has an immediate vacancy for a systems accountant to join the existing IS implementation team set up to introduce Information Systems into all main operating units across the UK.

This role will be working within a challenging environment and you will have a direct influence on the way the business is run.

They are looking for a Customer-oriented, motivated individual to join their team.

Reporting to the Group IT Director, you will be part of a focused project team responsible for introducing and supporting the Finance modules within Epicor and as part of the wider IS role. You will need to interact with all levels of personnel within the company and be able to communicate effectively with these people.

This position can be based at any of the Group's UK based operating units, although periods of time away from home will be required as you will be expected to spend time at other operating units within the group.

Job Responsibilities:
- Support for Finance modules within Epicor (Epicor training will be provided)
- Project support for IS implementation programs
- Technical consultancy and troubleshooting
- Workflow and business improvement programs
- Liaising with users and developers, delivering agreed system modifications

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor training will be provided)
- Knowledge of Finance processes within an ERP environment
- Good analytical skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing businesses is desirable
- Able to spend periods of time away from home
- Communicate well at all levels across the group
- Committed team player
