The Automotive Maintenance division of Questech Recruitment are looking for a flexible and reliable Class 2 driver in Pickering.
THE ROLE:
You will have experience of driving a wide range of vehicles and have minimum of a Class C licence plus CPC. This role is working a Winter Maintenance contract, starting in November for 6 months throughout the winter period. Full training will be provided, although you must be able to commit to the working rota for the full 6 month period. Any previous experience/training on gritters is extremely beneficial. When you are not gritting, you will be required to carry out labouring duties around the yard.
THE DUTIES:
* Responsible for driving road gritting vehicles throughout a specific route
* Care of the vehicle after gritting has been completed.
*Assisting in general yard duties
THE HOURS:
You will work 40 hours per week.
THE RATE OF PAY:
You will earn an excellent hourly rate of GBP12.50 per hour, with GBP13.00 per hour paid for any hours past 10pm. You will also receive a guaranteed weekly allowance for being on call.
