Reach/Counter Balance Truck Driver
This Job will end on the 23rd October 2018.
Tilbury Coldstore is a part of Browns group, we are an inspirational, market leading, constantly evolving and a passionate company.
We are the one stop shop for the finest collection of Frozen Poultry and Fish from around the world supplied to a wide range of customers across the UK.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, energetic, hands on Warehouse Operative with Reach truck OR counter Balance experience to support the warehouse team. You will need to understand the key role of the Warehouse and Coldstore function.
Reporting to the Coldstore Manager your main responsibilities will be;
Key Accountabilities
?? Assembly of store orders per individual store picking schedule. Orders built into cages and/or pallets (per store requirements) in such a way as to minimise damage/wastage to product. Orders then located in designated bays awaiting loading.
?? Loading and unloading of vehicles (cages/pallets and stock as required).
?? To distribute products to the correct location for putaway.
?? General housekeeping duties to be carried out during and at end of shift - collection of refuse, cleaning of spillages etc.
?? Stocking up all pick-face locations for stock-held products.
?? To comply with company procedures with the use of mechanical handling equipment.
?? To ensure the warehouse is kept clean and tidy.
?? Adhere to Health & Safety Procedures.
?? Accuracy of order picking
Person Specification
Essential:
?? Basic level of literacy and numeracy
?? Warehouse experience
Reach truck driver with 6mths+ experience You will be tested in the truck at interview stage so you will need your licences.
?? Do you live within a 5 mile radius and commutable distance of Tilbury?
