Our client is a global leader devoted to the design, development and manufacture of innovative components for the automotive industry.
Due to further expansion they are now looking to recruit for a Program Manager (Prototype - Chassis) to lead the Prototype manufacturing area from enquiry, prototype production control, through to delivery
Key Responsibilities:
* Management of Chassis Business Unit Prototype and Process support department
* Management of local resource to support associated project needs
* Responsible for forward planning and capacity, project Budget and Investments
* Planning workload and reporting issues
* Leading prototype RFQ, supplier liaison, planning and Quality standards
* Develop and publish detailed planning for all projects
* Communicate and liaise with diverse teams throughout the prototype process.
* Manage Engineering design changes
* Responsibility for Health and Safety
Skills and Experience required:
* Experienced with Chassis components
* Knowledge of stamping, welding, machining etc.
* Experienced Project Management
* Degree in an Engineering discipline
