Our client is a leading children's, family and learning disability charity.  Founded in 1795, they enjoy the Patronage of Her Majesty The Queen and support thousands of vulnerable children and their families, children with special educational needs and people with learning disabilities in London and the South East.

They now have an opportunity available for a Recruiter to join them to recruit for Care related permanent vacancies, primarily skilled Support Workers across the organisation.

Liaising with hiring managers to obtain job descriptions and person specifications and working closely with them to establish an understanding of the requirements and nuances of their vacancies, you will source candidates by various routes including but not limited to: headhunting, networking, CV searching and social media and provide a consultative recruitment service. 

Writing and placing adverts, screening, shortlisting, managing applicants, arranging and facilitating interviews and providing feedback to applicants, you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of Recruitment Assessment days for Support workers and must identify and implement other methods of meaningful group assessments. 

You will also plan and execute attraction campaigns and raise brand awareness and continuously monitor Support Worker vacancies across the organisation and work with hiring managers to reduce vacancy levels.

Candidates for this role must have demonstrable experience of working within either internal Recruitment or Agency Recruitment and have a background of using innovative and creative approaches to securing the best candidates, utilising a wide range of sourcing methodologies.  With a strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practice and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will have experience of recruiting high volume roles, across multiple disciplines and have excellent IT skills and knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook).
