Science Teacher

This is a SEN School for boys with an ethos committed to the inclusion of young people and staff who work hard as a team to support the pupils through their learning.

They are seeking a teaching of Science to KS3 and KS4 to start as soon as possible.

All the boys have social, emotional and mental health difficulties and are in this school as it provides the nurturing and positive experience. Having said that, this is a challenging post as behaviour is the primary difficulty this school faces. Teachers must be resilient, structured in their approach to teaching and able to set clear boundaries in their classroom.

Duties will include:
- Planning and preparing work for each child
- Tailoring each task to meet the needs of the children within the classroom
- Understanding individual characteristics of the children and maintain their concentration throughout their classroom learning
- Assess and mentor the children in the classroom
- Maximum of 6 children per classroom

You will need:
- QTS or Qualified Teaching Status
- Experience teaching in UK schools
- Experience and knowledge of the UK curriculum
