Finance Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen with an international business on the outskirts of Exeter. This is a permanent role, which involves taking responsibility for a key area of the accounts to ensure the inclusion of accurate figures into the monthly accounts.

Whilst working for a large employer this position is based within a small finance team, who work alongside the wider finance department. This role is ideal for a finance administrator with experience of working on excel and used to meeting regular deadlines.

The role includes:

• The review of accounts data to identify variances to previous periods or the budget
• Investigating anomalies and present analysis of data
• Supporting line managers with the production of presentations
• Monthly account reconciliations
• Produce monthly payment runs

The ideal candidate will be a graduate or AAT studier, who displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to work. In return the employer offers:
