Financial Controller/Management Accountant (Manufacturing/US GAAP)
A new vacancy for a Financial Controller/Management Accountant with European division of global US engineering company. Based at the division's European headquarters in High Wycombe, the role will require frequent visits to its sites in France and the Czech Republic, so the jobholder must be prepared to travel on a regular basis. The main purpose of the role will be to maintain the integrity of the financial results of the company in line with corporate policy, and to report on time and in an accurate manner ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements, while working a as a key business partner for the French location. FLUENT FRENCH is an essential requirement for this role.
Candidate requirements:
- Professional Accountancy qualification
- Proven experience in general, cost accounting and internal controls including Sarbanes Oxley
- Fluent in FRENCH and ENGLISH
- Proven experience in US GAAP environment
- Strong knowledge of ERP & SAP is preferred
- High level of PC literacy, especially Excel, is required
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with high level of integrity and resilience
