Are you a Fundraising Manager looking to take the next step and make a difference for a fantastic charity? Our client an amazing charity based organisation are looking for a Head of Fundraising and Communications to join their expanding team in Amersham.
The ideal candidate will need to have strong Fundraising experience and come into the role with new and innovative ideas to increase the success of the Charity organisation whilst managing a Fundraising team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new fundraising and communication strategies
- Increase income generation by identifying and developing new revenue streams whilst maximising existing opportunities, including community, corporate, events, major gifts, and direct campaigns
- As a member of the Senior Leadership Team ensure excellent two-way communications between the Senior Leadership Team and Fundraising and Communications Team
- Manage and motivate a small but enthusiastic Fundraising and Communications Team, ensuring that they have clear objectives and are supported in order to be successful in their individual roles
- Ensure reporting, monitoring and evaluation processes are robust and provide the necessary information to the Group Chief Executive and Trustees
- Manage and develop consistent branding, fundraising and communication materials across the organisation
- Manage and develop fundraising and communication aspects of the new CRM system and website
- Participate in day to day fundraising and communication activities alongside the team
- Participate in appropriate team and staff meetings. Staff are also expected to attend training events relevant to their specific responsibilities
- Assist with any reasonable duty at the request of the line manager for the post
Key Attributes:
- At least 3 years' experience in grant fundraising
- Excellent communication skills, highly numerate and familiar with constructing budgets
- Experience managing budgets
- Ideally a member of Institute of Fundraising
- Must drive and have access to a car to visit clients
- Flexible approach to working hours
