LJMU’s Corporate Communications team is looking for an enthusiastic and creative communications professional who can help enhance its internal communications, including the student experience, a key theme in the University's strategic plan, by improving communications to and engagement with current students.

You will be responsible for writing and delivering impactful student and staff communications and developing engaging content to support a range of student initiatives across the University, such as the National Student Survey, Fairtrade Fortnight, Directed Study Week, induction, graduation and the University’s arts and cultural partnerships.

You should be familiar with a range of different media, including social media, and have experience of developing and delivering communications and PR campaigns and events.

You will also be skilled in tailoring and developing engaging content for specific audiences, which can be used on a variety of channels, including social media, intranet/websites, blogs, e-newsletters and printed materials.

This role will involve you working closely with colleagues in academic Faculties, the Student Opportunities Team and other key departments across the institution to help boost student engagement with corporate projects and campaigns. You will also be expected to work closely with the Liverpool John Moores University Students’ Union.
