Three 60 Search are recruiting on behalf of one of Birmingham's most impressive consultancies; established for over 10 years in Central Birmingham and specialising in fast-moving, professional sectors.

A team of real specialist recruiters, our client has built a very-well respected reputation in the Midlands and further, maintaining a 'first point of call status' for many FTSE 100 companies.

Implementing a more search focused approach, our client recruits into Consumer sectors, covering Supply Chain, Technical, Operations, Digital and Technology, on a nationwide basis.

With a slightly more quality focused approach than more traditional consultancies, you will have the autonomy to focus on results, as opposed to KPIs and call time targets. Our client recognises that every recruiter has an individual style, so whatever works for you, you'll have the freedom to continue with.

Our client places emphasis on knowledge of sector and understanding of requirements, so if it takes a little longer to make the right placements, then so be it!

As a Recruitment Consultant you will:

* Manage your own time effectively to develop your portfolio if clients within the Consumer/ FMCG sector, with a specific focus on permanent recruitment

* Approach select businesses and organisations, either through business development calls, speculative conversations, mail shots, networking, candidate marketing or other platforms, with the view to build long-standing relationships

* Use the same techniques to build relationships with professionals within your sector, who might be looking to secure a new role

* Actively head-hunting professionals within your sector, on behalf of clients with specific requirements

* Remain consistently organised in terms of pipelines, billings, vacancies, deadlines, interviews, placements and candidate/client care

* Independent research into clients- both new and existing, to remain on top of any changes to the market, hiring needs or opportunities to maximise accounts

* Working closely with colleagues and managers to further drive the brand forward

Applicants must have:

* A minimum of 2 years' experience recruiting for an agency in either FMCG, Consumer markets or similar (happy to consider other recruitment sector experience, dependent on the person)

* A good level of intellect and picking new information up quickly

* Professional and confident in dealing with new clients

* Excellent decision making ability and problem solving skills

* Good sense of humour!

Working hours: 8:45am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: Entirely dependent on experience! Official bracket of GBP22,000-GBP40,000 basic salary, which will depend on years' experience in recruitment, sector experience and background of success in recruitment
