The finance team is a key partner supporting the organisation, providing core financial MI to ensure effective management of the cost base. The finance team work with senior stakeholders to help manage a large and diverse organisation. The team work on a range of activities from ensuring the period end close is managed in a controlled way to working with business leads to develop financial plans reflecting the strategic priorities of the business.

Your Role

  • Leadership role working within Technology Functions to lead the financial management of the transaction cycle
  • Partnering and managing the Technology cost base for the transaction cycles, driving business and financial performance through supporting the financial strategy,
  • Supporting the overall cost reduction agenda, including monitoring cost saving initiative programmes.
  • Understand the commercial drivers of the business both current and proposed, so as to support rapid and successful growth of the business.
  • Support the budget process, regular forecasting and accurate reporting of the risks and opportunities
  • Ensure business area reporting is fully integrated with the wider organisation.
  • Support team in the consolidation of financial MI, reports, budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide driver based analysis and billing to the trading entity, supporting contacts to understand trends and the impacts of changes in volumes.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience of supporting business areas within a client facing partner role.
  • Professional accountancy qualification or equivalent relevant experience eg CIMA, ACCA with strong post qualified experience.
  • IT skills in Excel, Powerpoint, SAP and associated reporting systems

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in a financial services organisation, but not essential
