Assistant Surface/Print Designer

GBP20k - GBP23k dependent on skills and experience
Our client has an exciting opportunity for someone talented and creative to join their design team! The company was founded in 1985 and is an award-winning innovative luggage and travel goods business with offices in UK, US, Australia, Hong Kong and China.
They are looking to recruit an Assistant Surface/Print Designer, whose role essentially will include, but is not limited to:
Applying prints to product
Creating customer presentation boards
Recolouring
Handling other design work
This is just to name a few! The opportunities are endless.
To be considered for this role you will have:
Design related degree in print/textiles/surface design
Previous relevant commercial experience
Ability to take direction
Excellent skills on Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign
Experience of recolouring and creating workable repeats
Excellent sense of colour
A clear understanding of CMYK and spot colour printing processes
Working knowledge of pantone and solid coated systems
Excellent eye for detail
Experience of working in a high output & busy environment with an ability to work well under pressure and multi task
Solid organisational skills
