Junior Field Engineer

Our client are a market leader in the supply and installation of electronic locking systems into the hospitality and allied sectors supplying to both new build and replacement/refurbishment market in such as 5* hotels, hostels, student accommodation, military accommodation and serviced apartments.
They have a major upgrade project with a significant client of theirs to upgrade the locking systems for their hotels to work with a new system during 2018. Due to the special nature of this project they are forming a new team to focus on this strategically important project. There are also similar projects in the pipeline.
In brief, your role will involve the installation and commissioning of locks, Remote Controllers, Elevator Controllers and any other equipment required to successfully complete the installation on time within a small team of 3-4 people.
This is an excellent opportunity with a market leader in their field and a company who look after their staff.
The role will be working in hotels every week and there will be training in their offices in Reading and also on customer sites. For the team we are creating you will ideally be in the northern area of the South West (Plymouth is too far south) or such as Newport/Cardiff in South Wales but your work will take you all over UK.
You will ideally need to have some working knowledge of PC / networks although training will be provided and will ideally need to have some field engineering experience. Experience within such as CCTV, alarm systems, AV etc will all be of interest

Need full clean driving license
Remuneration
Salary GBP26k, 25 days leave, matched pension etc
Car provided, travel time, overtime, subsistence allowances and on-time bonuses paid.
