An independent and international technology services company is looking for an ambitious and autonomous manager to cover a wide range to set up and run a centralised procurement function.

The role requires an experienced procurement manager that has strong interpersonal skills that will proactively identify cost savings, improvement in services across a wide range of direct and indirect needs. Across a flat structure within an established team the right person will be able to make significant contribution through influencing key stakeholders within the business.

Role & Responsibilities.

To set up and run a centralised function for procurement of goods and services

Work with the operations administrator to control stock in a small warehouse

Review current internal sourcing and procurement processes and provide recommendations and improvements

To negotiate with suppliers the best price, terms and conditions and build strong relationships

Attend meetings off site as required with suppliers

To ensure complete accuracy of the purchasing and records of agreed pricing structures

To advise finance of inventory value changes for insurance purposes

Experience and requirements:

3 years minimum experience within procurement

Thorough understanding of costs from source to destination

Self-motivated to set up a new function with minimal assistance

An excellent negotiator

Highly proficient across all MS Office applications

General experience within a small company

Must have a full clean driving licence

Previous experience setting up a procurement function from scratch
