Our client is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager.
• Good all round management experience and skill at a high level, managing day to day FM as well as supporting project delivery.
• Very strong contract management, in particular hard and soft FM services
• Excellent Health & Safety Management skills, with good technical knowledge to drive building management improvement in compliance and general standards.
• Ideally experience of using and developing a CAFM system
• People focused individual with outstanding ability to work effectively with staff, customers, stakeholders and partners.
• Able to work well under pressure, consistently delivering high level output. Good multi tasking skills and time management.
• Experience of project managing building refurbishments and office moves.
• Creative and enthusiastic.
•Manage the overall services provided within the facility
•Create a suitable environment for the purpose and needs of the facility
•Use best business practices to manage and reduce operation costs
•Create a budget for various facility needs and expenses
•Compare costs for various services and goods before choosing the best options for the facility
•Manage the maintenance of the building by performing repairs or contracting maintenance services as needed
•Track building upkeep as well as anticipated long- and short-term improvements and maintenance
•Keep the surrounding grounds properly cared for and landscaped
•Handle certain administrative tasks, such as preparing reports for facility owners
•Ensure the security of the building by researching and implementing various security measures
•Respond to emergency situations or other urgent issues involving the facility
•To review activities in scope with the current contract and its component parts including thresholds and exclusive works as well as works carried out separately and considering how this is procured.
•Engaging with all key stakeholders including corporate contract managers.
•Respond to emergency situations or other urgent issues involving the facility.
