Located outside Dalkeith

Valeco Recruitment are on the market to recruit a permanent full time Buyer to join our clients established and recognised UK brand just outside of Dalkeith.
***Due to our client's location own transport will be required***
You will be working in a small, yet experienced team where your role and responsibility is to purchase materials and products that provide an extremely high quality and cost for our client's business.
With this you will also be responsible for the inventory of materials and products where you are working and building up key lasting relationships both internally and externally.
A busy and rewarding role, already you will have experience in buying or purchasing and understand the key fundamentals and duties that this role will bring.
Experience is essential, please do not apply if you do not have experience in this field we will not consider you.
With this we are ideally seeking individuals from a manufacturing background, however may look outside this industry sector dependent on our response.
You will as an individual have exceptional communication and presentation skills, be someone who can deal with people at all levels and form instant and lasting relationships.
A great team player who can also work on their own and work to deadlines while remaining calm and professional always.
Being a Buyer, you will be an individual who can influence others, negotiate pricing, work to budgets and have an analytical mind.
PC skills - MS Office Suite and understand and use MRP systems.
