A new & exciting opportunity has become available as Head Chef at our clients 5 Star Holiday Park.
Offering a competitive salary of GBP28,000 based on 40 hours our Clients Park is certainly one of the nicest places to be in the Somerset area! Variable hours will include evenings, weekends & holidays, but at least your situated in a stunning area!
With a newly rebranded menu to better suit the parks already thriving F&B trade, the park is offering a Gastro pub/ bistro menu with plenty of room for a chef to make their mark as the menu & restaurant has been recently rebranded.
This role is going to suit a chef with enthusiasm bursting out of the seams! You must be ready and capable to develop a team through trust, experience & a great mentality for training. To have a passion for the business and the desire to ensure the companies high standards are always maintained. With a diverse range of cooking you will certainly need to be adaptable. With all that being said this role will be very rewarding as you watch the business grow.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Consistent and prompt preparation and food service
* Stock ordering and stock rotation
* Cleanliness of all work areas
* Completing staff rotas for the kitchen team
* Ensure published menus and specials boards have correct selling prices
* Provision of correct portion sizes and control of all waste
* Comply with all food hygiene regulations
Skills you will need to bring to the chopping board:
* Catering skills & level 3 food (Desirable)
* Great communication skills
* Upbeat "can do" attitude with willingness to develop within your role
* Driving licence and access to a car (Preferable)
