WHAT COMPANY YOU WILL BE WORKING FOR
Westray Recruitment Consultants is giving you the chance to work as a Shift Support Operator for a global automotive manufacturer who provide excellent career prospects. Our client is based in Peterlee and is able to provide long term and stable work, this position will work on a temporary working a 3 shift system, with the business offering readily available overtime.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE?
- You will get involved with loading and unloading machines and you will report to the relative setter/operator, team leader and shift Supervisor
- Basic operating and controlling machines to standard operating procedures
- Responsible for own quality and meeting production demands
- Responsible for cleaning of the production machines
- Active involvement in housekeeping
- Operating overhead cranes
- Ensure to abide by all health and safety guidelines
WHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
- You will ideally have previous experience of working with a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating machinery will be highly beneficial
- You will be honest, reliable and flexible
- You will have a hard working and committed nature
- Team orientated
WHAT ARE THE FINER DETAILS OF YOUR ROLE?
You will work on site in Peterlee and will work a 3 shift system, including days (7am-3pm), backs (3pm-11pm) and nights (11pm-7am). Overtime is also available on a regular basis.
WHAT SALARY PACKAGE YOU WILL BE RECEIVING
You will receive a competitive hourly rate, along with a shift allowance and relative overtime payments.
