Software Training Consultant/Trainer - Chemistry, Biology or similar

Our client, who is a leader in scientific data management software, is looking to recruit a training consultant to work within their global educational services team. You will design, create and maintain a range of online, eLearning and classroom-based training material, and deliver and coordinate software product training to customers and internal staff. Classroom training is delivered mainly at our client's onsite training facility, but there will be opportunities for some UK and European travel.

This would be a great opportunity for an IT trainer or a teacher with a science/IT background looking to move into software training.

What's needed?

  • The ability and experience to design and deliver effective training on scientific software products.
  • A 2:1 or above in a chemistry, biology, life sciences or pharmacology discipline.
  • The ability to deliver complex information concisely and articulately.
  • An aptitude for understanding complex software.
  • Good applied knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time management, communication and problem-solving skills.
