Manpower is recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of our client, a global leader in the production of nutritional, hygiene and personal care brands.
You will be working on various production lines within the Barnwood factory who produce many different famous Ice Cream products.
Your main duties will include:
• Running equipment/machinery to meet targets
• Quality checking
• Packing the product
• Ensuring the production area meets strict hygiene standards
• Collecting information accurately and being aware of health and safety hazards
You should be flexible, quality conscious, and have the ability to problem solve. You will be able to communicate with others effectively and work safely and well within a team.
This role is ongoing and there could be permanent opportunities available within the company.
We are looking people to work 8 hour shifts working Monday- Friday on a rotating pattern of Early, Late and Night shift Flexibility will be required.
Pay rate is GBP8.75 to start, following 12 weeks of worked weeks you will hit the Parity pay rate of GBP12.55.
The ideal candidate will have proven production experience preferably within the food industry and a good standard of written and communicative English.
You will need to pass set assessments on health and safety, quality checking, hygiene and hand pallet truck training on an induction before you are able to start work.
