BRAND NEW ROLE. Hudson Marketing is working with a national law firm in the search for a Senior Marketing Events Executive to join their clients & markets team. Reporting to the Marketing Events Manager, the Senior Marketing Events Executive will be responsible for organising, delivering and indeed marketing a broad range of client facing events. This opportunity can be based in either central Birmingham or central Leicester, though travel to the firm's offices elsewhere in the country will be expected from time to time.

Specific responsibilities:

* working as part of the broader team to deliver the events element of the firm's integrated marketing campaigns
* planning, on the day management, and post-event follow-up of a number of regional client-facing events
* producing event collateral including input into copywriting and design for bespoke materials
* analysing event success; preparing return-on-investment reports and recommending areas for improvement
* creating email marketing campaigns, website content and social media posts in relation to upcoming events
* assisting in data management, event inbox management and monitoring, and ongoing data cleansing
* developing strong relationships with external suppliers such as venues, caterers, audio-visual businesses, etc.

Required skills and experience:

* significant experience in a similar role, with at least a years' experience in professional services
* degree level education in a relevant subject such as event management or marketing
* experience of promoting events via digital channels including social media, web and email
* ideally, but not essential, experience of using Dotmailer and MS Dynamics
* energy, confidence, enthusiasm and a can do attitude
* self-motivation, flexibility and adaptability
* strong attention to detail, with superb written and verbal communication skills
* experience of managing a varied workload and an ability to adapt to change and prioritise tasks accordingly.

* permanent, full-time role
* salary up to GBP35,000 per year plus benefits
* base office either central Birmingham or central Leicester,with travel to other offices required
* role will require presence at breakfast and evening events from time to time
