Job Title: NCS Sales Associate Department: National Citizen Service Responsible to:??? NCS Manager Status: Fixed Term - until December 2018 Salary: GBP 18k- GBP22k Location:??? Bolton Lads and Girls Club Sites _______________________________________________________________________________________ Main Purpose of the role: The NCS Recruitment Officer role will form part of a team of skilled individuals tasked with recruiting young people throughout 2018/19, in line with set targets ensuring that hundreds of young people over this time from Bolton's diverse communities contribute towards a more cohesive society. The NCS Recruitment Officer is a 100%-year-round target driven role which will establish and progress key relationships young people their parents/carers, schools, colleges, and agencies for the benefit of the Club's annual NCS programme and deliver against the recruitment campaign and implementation strategy for young people. All aspects of the recruitment processes will be within a clear framework of safeguarding and health and safety policies. Key Responsibilities: Achieve recruitment and retention targets in line with contractual requirements set by the NCS Trust; To act as an account manager for Schools, Colleges, PRU, training providers and the Local authority; building strong professional relationships in each. Establish and deliver a year-round marketing campaign, including high quality frontline delivery of recruitment activities in schools and colleges to generate significant interest in the NCS Programmes to ensure the retention of young people. Promote the programme to raise awareness and initial interest through to the full sign up of young people as confirmed and paid for participants to feed into individual and team targets. Facilitate ongoing communication with young people and their parents/carers to support retention right up to the delivery of the programme. Liaise with other members of the NCS team, Club- wide staff and external organisations to support the delivery of a high quality and successful recruitment process in line with both The Trust and Club Requirements. Provide office and administrative support for the NCS Programme, including collating and providing all required management information as required. Identify and liaise with partner organisations and agencies for promotional opportunities for the NCS Programme. Pro-active in developing and sustaining partnerships to support the delivery of the NCS Programme. Deliver targeted marketing and recruitment activities to school's colleges and other relevant organisations to generate interest in the NCS Programme. Ensure the recruitment and retention strategies to support young people to join the programme are of high quality and supportive to their needs. Person Specification: Applicants should be able to demonstrate that they can meeting the following: Skills - Essential Proficient in Microsoft office Excellent written and communication skills Organisational skills necessary for working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload demands. Planning skills Negotiation skills Team working Skills - Desirable Use of CRM system (Salesforce) Experience - Essential Working within payment by results contract - SLA or KPI targeted environment Direct experience of recruitment campaigns - preferably involving young people. Skilled and confident in delivering presentations on small and large scales.
