Credit Control Clerk - East London
Salary: 20 - 22k
Our client is the largest manufacturer of Security and Fire-Resistant Doors, Shutters and Grilles in the South-East of England. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Control Clerk to join the Accounts Department.
The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge of Retention Administration and Contractual Field experience and must be proficient in using Sage 50.
Key responsibilities:
*Day to day credit ledger controlling, chasing and collection of money
*Cash allocation and depositing cheques in the bank
*Maintaining and updating customer details on the in house system
*Produce and send statements monthly
*Legal 7 day letters and other administration, court attendance leading to the collection of money
*Invoicing experience would be beneficial for times of cover.
*Deal with queries regarding credit issues.
Essential skill + experience
*Experienced in using Sage 50
*Previous Credit Control experience
*Good communication skills
Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am- 5pm
