Assistant Finance Manager/Accounts Assistant

I am working on behalf of a Global Architecture and Interior Design firm who are looking to recruit an Assistant Finance Manager within their London office.

They are seeking a confident business-oriented individual to working alongside the Regional Financial Controller - EMEA, in a small but friendly finance team.

Key deliverables:

UK VAT Returns

Tax invoice checking

Accounts receivable; credit control

Payments; checking of payments and purchase requisition

Bank Reconciliation

Intercompany charges/transactions

Credit Card Statements reconciliation

Staff expenses

Monthly CIS Returns to HMRC/Subcontractors Deduction Statements

Prepayments and fixed assets journals

Required skills/attributes:

Confident, friendly and can-do attitude

Ability to work quickly and accurately; excellent attention to detail

Good concentration; capable of working to deadlines

MS Office suite (particularly Excel)/Sage 200/50

High level of integrity and honesty; discreet and trustworthy

Ability to be proactive and assertive when gathering information from team members

Experience in the D&B industry is an advantage
