The Company
Our client is an exclusive UK distributor of a leading swimming pool brand. They are now seeking a Technical Operations Manager to join their team in Plymouth.

The Role
As the Technical Operations Manager, you will be tasked with managing the day-to-day operations within the technical support and distribution departments.
As our client’s ‘safe pair of hands’, you’ll take charge of one despatch/warehouse worker and one sales technician. Primary activities will involve managing orders that are shipped from Germany and onwards to clients and the provision of technical support to provide back-up to the aftersales team.
Specifically, you will:
- Manage the import and distribution of swimming pool equipment
- Arrange for field engineers to attend clients
- Organise shipping and transport
- Manage engineering contractors
About You
To be considered as the Technical Operations Manager, you will need:
- Previous management experience
- Previous experience in a technical field such as engineering or electrical
- To be a competent organiser and planner with strong administrative skills
- To be a confident decision maker
Whilst not essential, an understanding of logistics would be beneficial to your application in order to facilitate the planning of imported stock from Europe.
