The South Thames Colleges Group is looking to recruit two Teaching and Learning Coaches. One post will be based at Merton and Carshalton Colleges and the other at South Thames College. These roles are ideal for inspirational teachers with outstanding track records. Successful applicants will have the experience, professionalism and communication skills to engage with and motivate staff to be innovative and excellent in their practice. Learning Coaches will work closely with School managers and lecturers to support the development of provision which is relevant, stretching and of a consistently high standard and learning approaches. Learning Coaches will also be expected to mentor teachers and support the Colleges’ priorities in developing students’ English, Maths, ILT and employability skills.

The role has been created to further our journey towards excellence in teaching, learning and assessment, including the use of ILT to improve learning.

Some aspects of the role will operate across campuses and, as such, successful applicants will need to be prepared to travel between sites.
