Ecologist - Northwich, Cheshire.
Location - Northwich, Cheshire.
Salary - GBP22,000 to GBP26,000.
Reporting to - Director.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Ecologist to join an expanding, specialist ecological consultancy within Northwich, Cheshire. Our client has recently expanded the team but see the benefits of taking on another experienced Consultant Ecologist after a recent influx of new business.
This award-winning establishment was formed in 2005 and has since built up a strong reputation within the industry, expanding to a team 16 located in their Cheshire offices.
My client is keen to hear from candidates with the following skills and experience:
1. BSc and/or MSc in Ecology or Environmental discipline.
2. At least 3 years' ecological consultancy experience.
3. Full, clean UK driving licence.
4. Ability to write basic ecological reports.
5. Demonstrable field survey experience for a variety of protected species.
6. CIEEM membership.
It would also be a distinct advantage to hold experience writing basic EcIA's and/or a specialism in botany/ornithology/bats.
Being a small reputable consultancy, my client offers a flexible approach to flexi-time, homeworking and TOIL within the role. This position will typically suit an experienced Consultant with the ambition to become an integral part of a small, specialist team. You will be hard-working and keen to develop your skills in the wider areas of ecology.
