Our client is looking for a machinist /production supervisor to join their team in Melksham. The role will involve overall responsibility for quality and condition of all garments, producing high standards and ensuring all work is correct and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring safety procedures
- Delegate and organise the production team on a daily basis
- Ensuring that production procedures are up-to-date and practiced
- Updating daily productivity reports, systems and records
- Production of embroidered garments using SWF embroidery machines
- Managing heat-press production processes
- Carry out weekly embroidery machine maintenance
- Timely and accurate ordering of production stock
- Complete edits and testing of stitch files
- Accurate recording of unique stitch file running orders, thread colours, timings and job production details for each order
Skills Required:
- Experience in running an embroidery machine
- High attention to detail
- Good communication and team work
