We are currently recruiting for a Trainer Facilitator in Woodtrades to join our Construction & Building Services Department here at South Devon College.  You will be responsible for instructing and facilitating learning for students enrolled on a range of Woodtrades programmes, assessing learning as appropriate through the use of formal and informal methods. You will also contribute to curriculum development and support the implementation of pastoral and welfare systems provided for students.

The successful candidate will need to hold an NVQ Level 2 or Craft Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery and have industrial experience on site or in a workshop environment, with some understanding of construction craft qualifications.  We are looking for someone who has the ability to work unsupervised, take a logical approach to problem solving and work as part of a team.
