The Role

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, this role will be vital in the delivery of their IT Strategies, ensuring the security and continuous delivery of key organisational systems which support in maximising organisation outcomes. This role is integral to the service, promoting high performance, high productivity, continuous improvement and an ownership culture by delivering rapid and innovative systems and services. Working closely with the leadership team and external Stakeholders, this role is key to drive innovation, maximise resources and deliver exceptional value for money services to the community. This position takes the lead on digital solutions, effective strategic IT delivery and supporting initiatives to build and sustain an effective IT function enabling the organisation to achieve its strategic goals.

The IT function is at the start of a substantial and rewarding journey to transform IT services in the organisation and deliver transformative outcomes as a result. This is a very exciting opportunity for anyone with the drive and ability to deliver rapid results.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience of driving and successful delivery of IT strategies.
  • Ability to provide an effective and efficient IT Service.
  • Experience of delivering of a modern, flexible and extensible IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to implement processes which ensure the security of the IT Systems. and business continuity.
  • Ability to ensure the organisation's IT estate, ensuring that adequate services are provided that are fit for purpose, well maintained and deliver value for money.
  • Demonstrable experience of new delivery in a role with a strong ethos of customer service.
  • Demonstrable track record in building and sustaining relationships to achieve results, internally and externally.
  • Leading and managing within a dynamic, multifunctional organisation.
  • Knowledge of industry best practice to ensure the best approach to Information Security and GDPR.
