Are you a caring and patient teaching assistant/learning support assistant with excellent behaviour management skills? Are you passionate about impacting children's lives?
Supply Desk are working closely with a school in Southampton and are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant with experience of supporting children with SEMH. This school are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible addition to their team who can adapt well.
About the role:
Learning Support for children with SEMH on 1:1 basis or small group
Managing challenging behaviour
Assisting in development of pupils
Establishing a supportive relationship with the pupils concerned
Working closely with a teacher and following individual plans
About the right candidate:
Previous experience with SEMH
Previous classroom experience as a Learning Support Assistant preferable but not essential
Willing to adapt to a new challenge
