Assistant fireplace and stove installer 

We are looking for an ambitious candidate to join our fitting team and work along side and assist our HETAS engineer with the installation of Stoves and other fireplace work within our expanding company. This is a great opportunity to work in a growing and varied industry, the successful candidate must be willing to work hard and get stuck in on a daily basis, no day is the same and it’s not always clean work.

East Midland Stoves are HETAS approved suppliers and installers for wood and multi fuel Stoves and supply a range of appliances and building work associated with fireplaces. We are a small family run business based in Sapcote, Leicester.

Roles and responsibilities 

Lift heavy goods
Work at heights
Use power tools safely and correctly 
General labouring duties
Attention to detail when producing products for our installations
Organise deliveries and warehouse duties when needed 

We require you to have the following abilities:

Experience with ladders, scaffold towers and working at heights
To work safely at all times
Positive attitude towards work
Be able to work alone and use initiative
Good communication skills
Clean UK driving licence
Follow instructions well
Take an interest in the industry
Hard working
Polite and friendly to customers and other staff members

Previous experience in plastering and building work would be an advantage

We offer:

£8-9 ph based on previous experience 
30 hours per week with overtime available
Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays if required
