Our client is a global design consultancy, offering project management and creative services to internal and external clients. They work with high profile organisations in the transport and energy sectors and work collaboratively in helping their clients achieve their ambitions. At the heart of the business sits their buzzing in-house creative team, a highly talented team of 60 people across 7 locations in the UK, providing expertise in graphic design, UX/UI design, 3D visualisation, motion design, film and immersive media. An opportunity has now arisen for a Middleweight Graphic Designer and a Senior Graphic Designer to join the Birmingham creative team.
The Roles
As Middleweight or Senior Graphic Designer, you will report to the Creative Director and support the Studio Lead in driving quality and creativity throughout the team. You will bring your ideas, passion and high standards to a range of graphic design briefs across print collateral. You will be empowered to challenge the brief and go over and above with your creative thinking.
Whether working collaboratively with other Designers on larger projects, or individually on smaller briefs, you will always be happy to add value to your work day to day. Your role will see you working directly with clients, so your service-led approach will fit in well here! Over time you will have the opportunity to push yourself in new disciplines to develop your creative and technical skills.
About You
Whether Junior, Middleweight or Senior, you are a dedicated Graphic Designer with a portfolio showcasing your conceptual thinking, fresh ideas and exciting, contemporary design. You consider yourself to have strong creative vision and can clearly communicate your ideas to others. You are comfortable working directly with clients and enjoy building working relationships, and particularly enjoy being part of a busy creative team. You thrive in a fast-paced, progressive environment and love coming up with new ideas and sharing ideas with your colleagues. You are skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, you have additional software skills to improve upon or be willing to learn.
If you are senior level, you will have experience of working with digital teams to deliver innovative multi-discipline solutions.
At any level, any previous exposure to projects containing AR/VR and digital solutions would be advantageous.
