Job Title: HGV Technician
Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent
Hourly Rate: GBP15.53 per hour
Depot Location: Dartford, Kent
My client, a specialist commercial vehicle maintainer with depots across the UK is actively seeking to employ a skilled and experienced HGV Technician on a night shift for their depot in the Dartford area.
Working in a team of skilled and experienced HGV Technicians and on a large modern fleet of Tractor units, rigid trucks and trailers the successful HGV Technician will be required to undertake the following duties;
- Vehicle Inspections
- General Servicing
- Correction / repair of vehicle defects
- MOT Preparation / Presentation
- Completion of all required paperwork
The successful applicant must be a fully qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three or equivalent). A full driving licence is a must for this role.
This role will be working on a permanent night shift with the hours of work being 06:00 - 14:30 Monday - Friday
The hourly pay rate for this HGV Technician role will be GBP15.53 per hour for the first 40 hours per week, hours completed there after will be paid at an increased rate.
