Volunteer & Events Manager required for a large charitable organistation in Witney.
The Volunteer and Events Manager is accountable for targeted recruitment of volunteers to ensure my client continue to grow their volunteer capabilities & running meaningful regional events. This role encompasses liaising with a number of Activity Co-ordinators & Head of Volunteering, ensuring all employees are trained effectively in providing the highest quality standard of quality of care and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.

The role
* The Volunteer & Events Manager will manage and lead the targeted recruitment of volunteers within Oxfordshire.
* You will be responsible for volunteer inductions and overseeing volunteering within the region.
* Work closely with other managers, activity co-ordinators to ensure consistency in the delivery of an effective, professional volunteering offer.
* Promote volunteering by working with Universities & organisations within the community
* Accountable for evaluation of volunteering and events. This will include methods of evaluation, reports and maintaining volunteer database.
* Liaise with external bodies and organisations to provide opportunities for corporatevolunteering
* Organise regional events for residents including a Volunteer Appreciation Days.
* Accountable for regional budget and ensuring that there are regular audits.
Requirements
* The Volunteer & Events Manager must have previous experience in volunteer management & events management
* Previous experience working with or in the care industry would be beneficial
* Involvement with developing and implementing volunteering initiatives including targeted volunteer recruitment
* Strong IT skills
