Hours: 45 hours per week

We are looking for a Chef de Partie to prepare and serve food and beverages, ensuring a constant high standard of quality and customer service.

You will be working in the Lowry’s stylish restaurant and bar, Pier Eight. The stunning waterside restaurant offers pre-theatre and special occasion fine dining, and the bar provides casual dining. Our chefs pride themselves on using high quality ingredients and fresh seasonal produce to craft delicious meals.

This role will require you to:

  • Assist in the ordering of food commodities
  • Receive, check and sign for stock
  • Maintain effective quality control systems
  • Ensure that all food and health and safety regulations are followed
  • Complete legal documentation and monitoring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication with people on all levels
  • Ability to work effectively in the production and service of food is essential
  • Good knowledge of different sections within the kitchen
  • Previous experience of working in a similar kitchen
