My client, a Top 10 UK Franchisor and the UK Master Licensee for the world’s leading business coaching firm has a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager with a sales and marketing background.
You will play a pivotal role in the development of this business. You will be generating new business via various sales and marketing channels including networking, strategic alliance building, direct marketing, social media and advertising.
Once all of the Territory licences are awarded, the Business Development Manager will be in poll position to take on the role of Managing Director for the UK brand.

To generate interest in 200 exclusive UK licensed Territories for a new business planning and financial analysis service and recruit licensees to run these Territories.
Internal: UK Managing Director, Global Founder of the business planning and financial analysis service
External: Prospective licensees, Strategic Alliance Partners, Sales and Marketing service providers, event venues, media, networking organisations.
Education and experience: Degree in marketing or proven competence through experience plus minimum of 2 year experience in similar position and a minimum 2 year track record of success in selling in the UK.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of marketing and recruitment strategies used within the business professionals market (including social media strategies)
Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels, computer skills (outlook, google apps, Microsoft office), Relationship building skills, Selling skills, Event management skills, Able to follow proven systems, Numeracy and Financial Literacy and a good eye for detail, Ability to manage projects, You will need to be a self-starter, who can motivate yourself, be time efficient, productive and positive with a good sense of humour, You will need to be independent at the same time as working well within a team.
Above all you will have enthusiasm for producing tangible results and developing brand recognition.
Areas of responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of all necessary marketing strategies
- Closing sales and completing licence agreements
- Updating marketing materials
- Event Co-ordination
- Testing and Measuring strategies and reporting outcomes to the team
- PR and representing client’s brand to the outside world
Key performance indicators
- Number of leads generated per week
- Number of new licences awarded per quarter
- Quality and frequency of events
- Quality and frequency of social media posts
